Our farmville

Paul is still disgusted by the idea that a mother and her son can lay together, but the truth is that our mamma rabbit has just given birth to six beautiful babies. Typical man, daddy/son rabbit, presumably stressed by the responsability of being a father at the young age of four months, decided to run away while we were out of the house - we haven't seen him since.
The cat seems very interested in her new neighbours, but I'm afraid she can't quite control her enthusiasm, so we have to be careful...
Regarding work, it's pretty busy at the moment. We've just finished our first round of visits to the nine model schools and observed some quite "interesting" lessons, most of them (at least in my case,doing lower primary) involving "What's this?" "This is a pen", repeated as many times as children in the class (normally about 40).
We've also done a level test for all the employees of the district and we are going to start giving English lessons for them on friday afternoons.
Next week, we're taking the head teachers from the model schools to Rugarama, in the Eastern province. We hope they get some good ideas!


Paul está todavía un poco asqueado por la idea de que una madre y su hijo puedan "yacer" juntos. Pero lo cierto es que nuestra mamma coneja acaba de dar a luz a seis preciosos conejitos. Típico hombre, agobiado por la responsabilidad de ser papá a la tierna edad de 4 meses, papá conejo decidió aprovechar que estábamos fuera para salir huyendo - y no le hemos vuelto a ver.
La gata parece bastante interesada en sus nuevos vecinitos de granja, pero me temo que todavía no controla mucho su entusiasmo, así que tendremos que tener cuidado...
Por el trabajo, andamos bastante ocupados. Acabamos de terminar nuestra primera ronda de visitas a las escuelas modelo y hemos observado cantidad de "interesantes" clases. En mi caso, puesto que yo me ocupo de los tres primeros cursos, la mayoría incluyendo pequeñas variaciones de "What's this?" "This is a pen", repetido tantas veces como alumnos en la clase (lo cual viene a ser unas 40).
También hemos hecho una prueba de nivel para todos los empleados del distrito y, a partir de la semana que viene, vamos a empezar a darles clase de inglés los viernes por la tarde.
La semana que viene vamos a llevar a todos los dires de nuestras escuelas modelo a visitar Rugarama, en la provincia del este. Esperemos que tomen algunas ideas...
